QC Analyst I

Key responsibilities:  

• Perform analytical testing of API, drug substance, drug product, finished product, packaging material, complaint, and stability samples.
• Manage sample receipt, storage, tracking, and documentation.
• Ensure all laboratory activities are conducted in compliance with cGxP/GMP requirements and data integrity standards.
• Execute laboratory activities including analysis, equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification.
• Support stability testing and stability sample management.
• Maintain accurate analytical documentation and records.
• Participate in inspections and maintain audit readiness.
• Identify and report HSE risks, incidents, and improvement opportunities.
• Complete required training and adhere to all HSE and GMP procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and laboratory process optimization.

Essential requirements:

• Degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
• Initial experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably within a GMP-regulated industry.
• Basic understanding of cGxP/GMP requirements and data integrity principles.
• Experience with analytical testing and accurate documentation of laboratory activities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance standards.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work effectively in a regulated environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.

Desirables requirements:

• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of stability testing, aseptic techniques, or laboratory equipment calibration and qualification.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 65,870.00 - 122,330.00 CHF Annual.

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
